One should replace the cabin air filter every 15,000 to 25,000 or once in a year. Roberts recommends replacement every 30,000 miles. You can change the cabin air filter by yourself but it is also difficult to remove. You just have to remove the glove box to access it. Some are quite chore. The clips and pins are need to be removed but in case you get stuck then you can simply break it and when you pull it.
